Hosting that will not drop you
You can do everything else right — the name, the design, the privacy — and still lose it overnight, because the company holding your files decided your work was against their rules.
Most hosting is cheap and plentiful, and most of it has a clause you never read that lets them remove "adult" content at their discretion. You find out when the site goes dark.
Read the acceptable-use policy first
Before anything, the terms. Many mainstream hosts quietly forbid this work; a few are explicitly friendly to it. The rule to check is not the price. It is whether they can drop you, and how easily.
Own the parts you can carry
Keep your domain registrar separate from your host, so if a host does drop you, you still hold the address and can move. A site you can pick up and re-home in an afternoon is a site no single company can end.
A proxy in front buys resilience
Serving the site behind a proxy adds a layer between the public and wherever the files actually live — steadier, and one more thing that does not resolve straight to you.
Cheap hosting is cheap until the day it costs you the whole site.
